Ultimate Diagnosis of Atrial Fibrillation
Detection of atrial fibrillation (AF) is essential for Holter test. AF might result in stroke, heart failure or dementia. Study of 554 patients concludes that the new BTL CardioPoint® algorithm is able to detect AF with 99.5% sensitivity even in case of non-persistent (paroxysmal) form of disease.

15 new spiro predictions were implemented. Besides progressive universal GLI prediction, predictions covering Afro-origin, Chinese, Indonesian, Latin American and Thai patients were added.

BTL CardioPoint® is successfully running as Cardio Management System in hospitals. For clients with 3rd party systems we have now added support of the HL7 version 2.4 and 2.6. Hospital workflow is now supported better with status “worklist” and silent transition of imported ECG records from device directly to the 3rd party systems.
