Compatibility with BTL ECGs

In standard configuration, the BTL CardioPoint-Ergo comes with the BTL-08 SD3 ECG. This ECG features its own thermal printer and internal battery and thus, if needed, can be used independently of a computer as a portable device. Other ECG models (except for SD1) can be however connected to the CardioPoint-Ergo as well if additional features are required.

BTL CardioPoint®

BTL CardioPoint software is a versatile and complete solution integrating ECG, stress test, Holter, ABPM and spirometry into one unified platform. Its number of possible diagnostic, graphic and network configurations make it a software that adapts to the user rather than the user having to adapt to the software.

Features overview

  E300 E600
Automatic BP measurement supportCompatible automatic blood pressure monitor can be connected. Blood pressure measurement at predefined intervals is then completely automated. Yes Yes
ST settings – J point position modificationJ point position can be modified before, during and also after the test in order to measure the ST segment deviations precisely. Yes Yes
Stress-test protocol editorExisting stress-test protocol can be modified or new protocols can be created in this editor. Yes Yes
Trends of HR, ST, BP and load Yes Yes
Automatic & manual load control Yes Yes
Electrode application indicatorInforms the user when an electrode is not properly attached. Yes Yes
Profile creationIn profiles, every user of the BTL stress-test can define his/her own preferences (such as ECG signal view, report printing, diagnostic settings etc.). These preferences are saved and can be applied easily when starting the test.   Yes
Signal freeze & reviewIt is possible to freeze and review the ECG signal on the screen during the test. This is particularly useful when an important event appears in the ECG.   Yes
QT moduleQT module evaluates patient’s risk of sudden death caused by long QT syndrome. It uses a tangent method which is specifically suitable for QT measurement with higher heart rates, when there is no clear return to the baseline or when the T wave has two peaks.   Yes
Arrhythmia detection & analysisWhenever an arrhythmia occurs during the test, a warning mark is displayed above the ECG signal and in the trend graph. The arrhythmias can also be reviewed later after the test.    Yes
Risk scoringRisk scoring tool uses the examination results to automatically predict the risk of patient’s mortality and to define the risk of CAD (coronary arterial disease).   Yes
ST mapsST maps display the ST segment deviations in a horizontal and vertical plane. They help recognize common pathologies associated with ST segment deviations easily and quickly. The ST maps are the only way to validate mirrored ST elevation reflecting posterior myocardial infarctions.   Yes
Maximum load predictionEven before the start of the test, the maximum achieved load is predicted for the patient based on their demographics.  Various formulas (Cooper, Jones, Morris, StJames, Washington, KUP 2008) can be selected for the prediction.   Yes
Instant rampIt is possible to switch from the classic step protocol to the ramp anytime during the test.   Yes
Caliper for manual measurementsWith this caliper it is possible to measure various intervals and amplitudes on the ECG waveform.   Yes
Relief mapRelief map is a graphic tool which helps see the development of the ST segment in one image.   Yes
